Stacey Solomon addresses baby number 6 rumours as she looks to the future

Stacey Solomon has opened up about the possibility of welcoming a sixth child following the birth of her daughter Belle in February 2023.

The Loose Women panellist, 34, shares Rex, four, Rose, two, and baby Belle with husband Joe Swash, 41, and is also mum to sons Zachary, 15, and Leighton, 11, from previous relationships. Joe is also dad to son Harry, 16.

Stacey, who recently felt like a 'princess' at The Beauty Awards, addressed fans on Instagram after many became convinced she and Joe were planning to welcome another baby, following a romantic child-free dinner at their home, lovingly nicknamed Pickle Cottage.

The mum-of-five shared a clip of Joe cooking on her Instagram Stories, revealing she felt "suspicious" of her husband as he'd asked her to put all of the kids to bed early so they could enjoy some quality time together. She told how Joe had said he'd cook her "something special" for dinner.

Despite Joe's sweet gesture, Stacey admitted she was "100% suspicious" of him and his intentions, as Joe defended himself by saying: "I just want a little bit of time with you that's all," before adding: "Just want a cuddle."

The fun video sparked a reaction from Stacey's loyal fanbase on social media, with many wondering if the couple are set to expand their brood.

"Baby number 6 on the way !!! Haha! You guys crack me up xx," one fan messaged Stacey, prompting her to address her followers in another video.

Following her romantic dinner with Joe, Stacey sat down for a quick catch up with her followers and addressed speculation she could have another baby.

"Your messages are cracking me up," she laughed. "Baby number six is not on the way. I can assure you."

The 34 year old laughed as she explained that Joe had fallen asleep after dinner and she was now making a cup of tea while getting Elf on the Shelf ready for her children.

"I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner as you can see. I got it all down my top," Stacey said. "But Joe fell asleep while I was doing Elf on the Shelf, so he's fast asleep."

Stacey and Joe met in 2016 while they were both working on I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! in Australia, and the pair soon started dating.

They went on to welcome their son Rex in 2019, followed by daughter Belle in October 2021. Stacey and Joe's youngest child, Belle, was born in February 2023 after they kept Stacey's pregnancy a secret for eight months.

Joe proposed to Stacey on Christmas Eve in 2020, and the pair tied the knot in July 2022 in an incredible ceremony at their family home.
