At the top of this year in January, Thom Browne won the stripes trademark infringement case against adidas – where the verdict found Brown not liable for damages for selling garments with four stripes. But the sportswear giant has not buried the hatchet as it is taking the American luxury designer back to court.

The revived court matter is regarding the intent to disclose four additional emails that arrived after the initial trial concluded. Allegedly, the emails contain information about Browne’s employees advising him about potential confusion with adidas. A hearing by Judge Jed Rakoff of the Southern District of New York is set for December 21.

Pre-Fall 2024 Collections Make Their Debuts

From city-shot visuals to studio lookbooks, the reveal of Pre-Fall 2024 collections has been in full swing with several brands stepping up to the plate.

It is known that Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter are the major collection tentpoles of the fashion landscape. But the focus on pre-season collections has been growing across the board in recent years with several large houses/brands revealing collections – ranging from Louis Vuitton to MM6 Maison Margiela.

In building up the anticipation for his forthcoming album, Vultures,  Kanye West has unveiled new YEEZY merch to accompany the project.

The lineup includes pieces like long and short-sleeve cotton t-shirts, the Pods Sock Shoe and accessories like a “Passprt.” The collection as a whole harbors a pre-loved feeling as designs have been cast with wear and tear-inspired details.

Additionally, the pieces range in price from $40 USD to $200 USD. Stay tuned as the release date has not been announced yet.

Kid Cudi Receives an Honorary Fashion Master’s Degree

Scott Mescudi a.k.a. Kid Cudi is now a fashion design scholar as he received an honorary master’s degree in fashion from the Instituto Marangoni Miami.

“Today was a really special day. Man, words can’t really express how I felt/feel now in this moment. I’m happy, I feel complete, accomplished, validated, all the things that bring immense joy,” wrote Cudi in a post. “My mom sharing this moment with me was everything. She got emotional, and it was such a special memory we’ll have together forever.”

In the realm of fashion, Kid Cudi helms his brand, Members of the Rage, which made its official debut during Paris Fashion Week FW23. Additionally, the creative is set to be making a brand with NIGO called WZRD CWBY.

A$AP Rocky and Kendall Jenner Get Papped In Bottega Veneta’s Pre-Spring 2024 Campaign

Milan-based luxury house, Bottega Veneta, has tapped A$AP Rocky and Kendall Jenner for its new Pre-Spring 2024 campaign.

Bridging the mundane with high fashion, the campaign reveals the rapper and supermodel engaged in various tasks like going on a run, leaving the grocery store and walking the dog. Although it captures the mundane, the images take on paparazzi-style photography – following the stars around just to capture a good moment.
